Paladin Code for Paladin of Ehlonna

Hm...a problem with the idea of a 'champion of the wilderness' is that there already is a class for that. Actually, there's two classes for that: Ranger and Druid. I'd sort of suggest taking a ranger with favored enemies of Undead or Abominations, actually.

Assuming you really want a paladin, I'd focus on destruction of unnatural creatures (e.g. undead) and defilers of nature, and probably relatively less focus on being an exemplar of good as opposed to a destroyer of evil.

This sounds like a fun combination. You do realise that if she's playing a female her mount should be a unicorn!
As for the Code of conduct. She just needs to extend the same courtisey to forest dwellers as she would to city folk. this includes animals of neutral or good alignments.
Very little else needs to change.I would take out Know religion and make it Know Nature and add survival as a class skill. Also you might want to change her spells availible to be from the druid spell list.

Book of Exalted Deeds PrC: Beloved of Valarian. Tailor-made for this character, I'd say.

I know this might sound odd, but look in the 2nd ed Ranger's Handbook for ideas, I believe that there's a "kit" as the called them in 2e for a Ranger like this, and it could be helpful for this Paladin concept

Beloved of Valarian

I highly recommend the Beloved of Valarian PrC from the Book of Exalted Deeds.

(Whoops! I didn't see hong's post. In any event, ask her about starting as a ranger and multiclassing to paladin)

With out a doubt! I like that book a lot. Just wish they spent more time with the Greyhawk panthion and not added new godds to the mix.

Here is the universal paladin's code:

To dream the impossible dream,
to fight the unbeatable foe,
to bear with unbearable sorrow,
to run where the brave dare not go...

To right the unrightable wrong,
to love pure and chaste from afar,
to try when your arms are too weary
to reach the unreachable star!

This is my quest --
to follow that star
no matter how hopeless,
no matter how far --
To fight for the right
without question or pause,
to be willing to march into hell
for a heavenly cause!

And I know
if I'll only be true
to this glorious quest
that my heart
will be peaceful and calm
when I'm laid to my rest.

And the world will be better for this
that one man, scorned and covered with scars,
still strove with his last ounce of courage
To reach the unreachable stars!

*sniff* that was beautiful, man!

you know, there are many "laws" in this world, one of these is the "law" of nature, or what is natural. you might reconsider what is traditionally considered to be lawful good. whose law?

would that make her too druidic or ranger-ish?
