Leave the paladin as it is. I'm sure most gamers are competent enough to make whatever changes they want to fit their particular game.

I think Paladin should be a core class, but with an "any good" as thier alignment, and Blackguard should be a core class with "any evil" as thier alignment. Very Yin-Yang.

I'm interested to see more votes. I voted to keep the paladin as is.

I'm not really interested to see yet another big debate over it, but am curious with regards to the voting results.

So far, over 70% would rather keep paladin as a core class. Kind of helps explain why wizards didn't mess with it, and blows away the argument that they just kept it cause its a "sacred cow".

Acctualy, it is more like 61% would like to see it stay as a core class, and 33% would like to see it as a prc. That is more then 1/3, I think that is a significant amount to mabie change something about the paladin.

the Paladin is a sacred cow of the game.
No ONE mess with my beef!
Any one who can't hack playing a paladin as it needs to go back and play candyland d20!

Come on, 13 votes untill 200.

But I think we can all agree by these results, there is a significant portion of people that think it should be a prc. I think Wizards should at least put it in the variation section of the book.
