Paladin Questions.....please help!!!!

1) If a Paladin takes a prestige class does that mean he can't take another level of Paladin?

2) I am looking to take a character which is a dwarven Paladin which eventually takes warpriest (or some other prestige classes) that gives him a combat leader like ability..... any suggestions? To give you an idea I was originally going to take Bard 1st, Cleric 1st, Fighter 1st and then Paladin....which gives him a lot of variety and something that I would be looking for....then just focus on Paladin but then I realized that for Dwarves Paladin is not a favoured class so after Paladin 2nd level I would be forced to either take Fighter or switch to some other class!!!!!!! ARRRGHTHT!!! I know that in Forgotten Realms they allow much more latittude to Dwarven Paladins....but that is the realms....

For prestige classes in Realms there are listed special paladin orders (deities) and classes (including prestige classes) that paladins are allowed to multiclass without penalties. Those can be used as guidelines for suitable classes in other campaing settings.

In net book of feats there's feat that allows another favored class. Otherwise you just should remove those bard and cleric levels or change them to classes that your DM allows without penalty (NPC classes (Aristocrat, Adept))
