D&D 5E Paragons of Their Kind

I wonder how folks see the various folk of D&D , and how you all would create the Paragon of each race in 5e? To me, you can answer the question backward, by wondering what the Cultural Hero that defined the identity of each race (and some subraces) looked like.

So let’s create the culture heroes that define the peoples of D&D.

Rules.
  • 32 pts, which is closer to a heroic rolled stats without being buck wild
  • Level 1 Supernatural Gift or Feat
  • Only Official Material
IMO the Wood Elf Paragon, to me, is a Ranger of some sort, bow with light blades as a backup, more magic than most rangers so Wood Elf Magic at level 1 and maybe ritual caster: Druid eventually.

Well, I had a whole huge post with a character for each of the PHB races and I freaking lost it. I’m so mad right now. Maybe I’ll try to write it up again later 😡
Ouch! That is why I type in word first now. Got caught one time too many.

I'm having trouble with the Dwarf. I think of the Dwarven Defender, but frankly 5e sucks at modelling that. I guess:
Battlemaster Fighter with a shield and warhammer or battleaxe
Sentinel at level 1, Goading Strike, Brace, and Bait and Switch, maneuvers. Probably Interception Fighting Style.
Tough or +2 Strength at level 4.
Background would be Clan Crafter.
Skills; Athletics, History, Insight, Intimidation, Perception
Tools; Smith's, Mason's, Tinker's
Optional: MC Barbarian, Zealot or Berserker, maaaybe Ancestral Guardian.

The elf from the OP, in more detail.

Aerenal Wood Elf, because it gets expertise in a skill. I chose Stealth.
Ranger, Fey Wanderer. Gets to add Wisdom to Charisma checks, and proficiency in a Cha skill. Chose Performance. Archery Fighting Style. Outlander Background.
Level 1 feat; Wood Elf Magic
Chose Athletics for my Expertise from the Deft Explorer feature.
Favored Enemy: Giants, and then Monstrosities. I know they aren't the classics.
Ritual Caster Druid at level 4, Elven Accuracy at 8.

So, I tried to think about these less in terms of the racial archetypes and more in terms of what each people would value and look up to. I kind of tried to make each character a folk hero among their kind (though only one actually has the Folk Hero background)

First off, we have our dwarf paragon, Dagna.

Dagna Caradin
LG Mountain Dwarf Clan Crafter, Artificer (Armorer)
STR: 14 DEX: 12 CON: 14
INT: 16 WIS: 14 CHA: 12
War Caster
Skills: Arcana, History, Insight, Investigation
Tools: Mason’s tools, jeweler’s tools, smith’s tools, thieves’ tools, tinker’s tools
Languages: Common, Dwarvish, Gnomish

Dagna was a smith of unparalleled skill and ingenuity. She mastered traditional Dwarven craftsmanship at a very young age, but was unsatisfied with merely imitating the successes of great craftsmen that came before her. Inspired by Gnomish engineering, she pioneered new techniques incorporating magical enchantment along with Dwarven metal and stonework and Gnomish machining, to create incredible armaments, which she personally brought to bear in defense of her people’s home. She is perhaps best known for the slaughter of an ancient red dragon that threatened to destroy her Clan’s home, cementing her forever in her people’s memories.
