D&D 5E Paragons of Their Kind

Actually my tiefling paragon concept is. Again, looking at it from the perspective of “what do these people value and who would they look up to?” instead of “what’s the most iconic way to play this race?” I figured tieflings would probably not idealize fiend pact warlocks. That seems like a reputation they would want to get away from. So, I went with cleric instead. Same reason I avoided rogue for halflings.
The Tiefling fiend pact warlock paragon is Neutral Good. Having infernal power but refusing to shackle themselves to the desires of the fiend.

Of course this only works if warlocks are independent of their patron once the pact is made.
I don't see tieflingsas a community revering voluntary submission to a greater power even if it is a god.

I really can't think of an official race that would have a cleric as a cultural paragon.

Aasimar?
Drow.

As Hill Dwarves and Wood Elves both have Wisdom bonuses, Cleric is a good class for them, and so they might be represented by a Forge Domain Cleric or a Nature Domain Cleric, respectively.

But they might view being a Warlock as a way to gradually move from the position of 'servant to a fiend' to a position of 'master of fiends' -- with the ultimate goal being something like the Prince of Hell epic destiny, from 4e.

The title of this thread also came across as a Dragon Age reference, though I wasn’t sure if it was intentional. I love Dragon Age, a fair bit of my homebrew world building takes inspiration from it. The biggest one being that the relationship between elves and eladrin in my world mirrors that between the Dalish and the ancient elves.
Not intentionally, but I am a big DA fan!
