This is NOT a tactical battle map, nor will I use it as such during battle. It is a visual aid. Use it to help establish your initial view of the scene, and we will all imagine the action from there. I'll try to keep things moving quickly (although I realize we are close to the holidays, so I will try to keep the descriptive elements as detailed as possible so you don't feel like you have to read the entire combat sequence each time). If you feel tactical placement is absolutely necessary (say for placement of a spell, make a judgment call based upon the description given. Due to the narrative structure of the game, I will generally leave it to your judgment. On occasion, I may overrule you by having the villain(s) get a "second wind" or similar narrative event, but I intend for such a thing to be uncommon. Enjoy!
As discussed in the OOC, during the first round, your characters will have little to go on for actual stats of the enemies besides description, but information will trickle in each round based on the degree of success of your knowledge checks and combat interactions. When you encounter virtually identical monsters, known information will be automatically provided.
Side note: in the future please be sure to post your Initiative modifier, Perception modifier, and Sense Motive modifier with each post. I do not request an entire stat block or detailed mini stat block, just those three modifiers.
