Limit Break Dancing (He/They)
...am I right?
Last night, I went to the Paizo website to grab a few PDFs before they all got pulled down. Alas, their poor server was too overloaded to oblige, and I missed out.
I didn't want to leave empty-handed, though, so I grabbed the free Pathfinder Beta Playtest while I was there.
I hadn't seen Pathfinder since the first Alpha release...and man, it has really come a long way since that first show-and-tell piece. The mechanics are interesting. The artwork is awesome. The campaign setting is intriguing.
I've been in a bit of a gaming drought for a while now. My group finished up our 3.5E campaign a few months ago, and our sandbox BECM game never really took root. We tried a couple of 4E games, but nobody really cares for it. I was going to kick off another 3.5E game at the end of this semester, and call it "good enough." But now?
Now, I can't stop thinking about a Pathfinder homebrew.

Yeah, that's a bit of a range there, I know. A nominally superhero-oriented point-build RPG, a 'generic' multi-genre class-and-level d20-based system, a 3.5 spin-off with exceptionally high production values and superb support guaranteed, and. . . the thing that started it all, as 'old school' as you might hope to get, without gaming with some of the original crew.
