Talk about your moral dilemmas.

On the one hand, this guy wants to wipe out all the followers of Set, root and branch. The first reasonable thing anybody has said since the Cimmerian was summoned to this awful place.

On the other hand, its obvious that the guy doesn't understand basic human needs. Calling food and wine irrelevant, the basic human need. The mad look in his eyes just reinforces why he was locked away.

And here I thought me asking how you where doing was reasonable...

Though I haven't posted upon it Brystasia has noted with surprise your sudden gushing of words. :D

Can't fault you on the first part of that but there a certain amount of attractiveness in zealous eyes. :D *L*

Well, the Cimmerian has never seen anyone as beautiful as Brystasia and he is still at a loss for words with regards to what to say to her.

Also, the Cimmerian is hoping that this is all just a bad dream and that he is going to wake up soon in his own bed. He is somewhat worried that if he interacts with Brystasia he'll soon discover whether or not this really is a dream.

I go and sleep for three hours and all hell breaks lose... Obviously Brystasia can’t trust you people to negotiate all. :D

Anyhow not that it seems to matter but what kind of locking system does the manacles have? Can we easily unlock them?

Endur, any of the two above sentences would work for in character. :D

PA, I'm shocked that the angel would cast a spell against Brystasia without allowing her a chance to truly pick her side... It could have been really interesting how that would have worked out.

ooc: Well, my character has higher Spellcraft. He realises that the spell doesn't give enough room for maneuvering for further attempts at diplomacy to be productive. We cannot compromise, the angel will not compromise, our only option is violence.
What I can't unlock the manacles when we meet with the seer... Like right after the spell cancels/finishes out?

He wasn't aiming at you; it's a cone effect that can't be shaped. If it makes you feel better, he DID say he was trying to spare your lives.

The manacles have no locking mechanism whatsoever. They appear to lock and unlock solely by magic.

Then it might just be better if we beat him into submission and deliver him unconscious, helpless, to our enslaver. Otoh, if he is a Solar he will regenerate all wounds that are not caused by Epic and Evil weapons. I can align one weapon to be Evil, but we don't have an Epic magic weapon in the group, so that won't work unless we keep pounding on him to keep him knocked-out until we reach the seer. He might not be so very pleased with us once we allow him to reawaken, I'd imagine insane angels can be pretty vengeful...
Our best option is to kill him with save-or-die or knock him out and manacle him.

I still would have liked the chance to bluff him into wearing them. As for the cone effect maybe he'll feel guilty for it anyway and stop his maddness. :)

My character is blunt and honest as only a barbarian can be. He was most distraught when someone told the Angel the only condition for freedom was to wear the shackles, with no mention of the Wizard.
