Maybe he's trying to save a 9th level spell for later use? Or looking for a way to delay are meeting with him.

Endur, I'm pretty sure you have it already, you seem to pick up the WotC books very quickly, but the Draconomicon has some nice non- magical equipment made from dragonhide/skin you might want to look at for Con… er The Cimmerian.

True enough, plus he's a cleric so it's not like he can use a different spell. It's prepared, use it or lose it.

I could be funny if we winded up in some god-awful swamp and he had to swallow his ego and so “oops”.

Also, I ordered the Draconomicon (60% off), but it has not arrived yet, so I wasn't aware of any special dragon skin stuff. What sort of Red Dragon Skin items do they have?

Where does the Cimmerian get this idea about getting a reward?

Darn, I thought for sure you already had it or I would have gotten word to you sooner. I'll work on getting those options for you. Its generic rules that work for each type of dragon, but it basically breaks down to getting a resistance to the dragon’s immune type. (dragoncraft, which requires the use of a feat.)

Does the Seer seem annoyed like he doesn’t believe me or does he seem worried that it might be true… Of course I’m not asking to know if my bluff worked just my players perceptions.
