Someone wanna explain to me how it works?

The Help info only goes so far...

Signed up for an account earlier this year for one ENWorld transaction, tied to a credit card, and everything went smoothly. Verified the account status tonight, and signed up for CS status [and WHOA, it was instantaneous, regardless of what you read in META], tonight here, just to make sure it still worked (and 'cause I felt I owed Morrus).

Now, I have a transaction going on with RangerWickett. He's not a celeb, for the most part, but I expected to be able to send funds quick-like to him the same way I did with my only two other transactions. But it won't work. The best I can get is a request to sign up my personal checking account. And even then I run into barriers. It's frustrating me and RangerWickett/Ryan.

Is it because all I have to send to is RW's private email? He seems to have had no problems with this in the past. I want to help him out and send the funds ASAP, but signing up for a checking account debit seems to take time, which I have not taken already.

Advise please...

Perhaps RW does not have the preferred PayPal status which allows him to receive a credit card payment? If you ever shop on eBay, you'll see some vendors not accepting credit cards. It's because it costs a tiny fee from PayPal to be able to accept credit card payments. Rangerwicket might not have that feature.

Setting up checking accounts is relatively painless, especially if you have online banking.

Basically, they're going to deposit two tiny little amounts (like $0.32) into your checking account. You log into your online banking, see how much was deposited, and then enter that amount into PayPal to verify that you are able to see the account balances. Boom - verifed.

Diaglo's suggestion might be a good one. Maybe you could just send the money to someone else, and then have them forward it on to RW?

You may want to make sure you have not gone over your total limit, the other thing to check is the address you are using, make sure it is correct, caps, dots all in place.

'K, I finally see the much delayed e-mail from PayPal regarding how the account verification works. Considering the holiday, this really could take until next week to get ironed out. I'd much rather mail RW a check. Guess I better e-mail him again...

Thanks, ya'll...
