Ok, here's my proposal for rolling rules for this game. (Since you have thwarted my attempts at being lazy...)
When I would normally request a roll and wait for you to post it, I'll just roll it and save you the time.
When you do something that requires a roll, just roll it yourself, post it, and save me the time.
There, time saved all around.
In the case of this particular game, especially post all the rolls and point breakdowns required for any magic you do so that the others can learn how it works. Pretty soon, we'll do it all in our heads like we do most anything else, but not yet. You should make very sure that you post what level you are casting at, and how many spell points it cost you. I am assuming (arbitrarily) for this round that you cast at 1st level.
Initiative order:
Elwent: 24
Inkar: 18
Amisel: 13
Goblin: 12
Kera: 4
OK, results:
Elwent: Casts Compel Humanoid: Suggestion: Thirst. The goblin rolls a will save (5). He will act on his initiative.
Inkar: You pick up a sharp rock from the ground and bang it into the boulder, trying to see if you can damage it. In the amount of time you have, you cause little more than a few scratches. The sphere seems very solid and incredibly heavy.
Amisel: You are holding your action, seeing if the goblin will react to the others. (Initiative reset to 11)
Goblin: (to Elwent) "Thirsty? Yes, I could use a drink... wait, does not the magic of my ring prevent this...?" He holds up a hand and now you see, wedged in between the wrinkles in the skin of a finger, a simple band of tarnished metal, "What are you playing at? Do you truly fail to grovel before my might?" He pulls back his hand to deliver a backhand slap to Elwent, but he misses by a wide margin.
Amisel: Seeing the failure of the magic, you cast Create Life: Water above the goblin's head. (side effect: The goblin has become wet, like we couldn't figure out that that would happen without the side effect chart...) The goblins splutters and looks very angry.
Kera: You attempt your Diplomacy: (rolled 18 + 3 (cha) = 21 -4 for rudeness = 17). We'll see how the wet goblin reacts.
Now on to Round Two of the negotiations.
