[PbP] EoM game: the graduates of Bluetower Academy

Inkar stamps the earth. Damn'd Gob! Pah!

Since we can get water, do we still need to open well? He looks to the others. He kicks the remants of the elementals around with his clay colored feet.

Welcome back Merak! :)

"I would think we should continue with moving the stone, while perhaps two of us keep watch for the goblin or any more minions. I certainly hope that freeing the water was the task to complete," Amisel says as he looks around for traces of where the goblin may have gone.

"Agreed." Elwent strode forward to the massive stone, inspecting it curiously. "Kera, would you...continue? Otherwise I suppose I could try pushing it," he granted skeptically.

OOC: Hey guys, I don't have Infuse Object (I think someone suggested that in the OOC thread, or was it something else? Any, I'll go make the RG now so we can try to figure something out, unless Kera wants to complete the spell she was using before.

"Give me a minute and I'll be fine," Kera pants, as she leans back against the boulder.

[Cast Fast Healing 2]

Kera calls upon the cleansing, light giving aspect of fire and her wounds begin to heal. Then she resumes her spell that would infuse the boulder with enough energy to allow it motion. "I think moving this boulder is part of the test. I'm not going to let some stupid goblin stop me now. Someone get Seeing spell up incase the goblin returns.

OOC: I'm having computer trouble. Sorry for the delay.

The boulder shudders with the power of Fire as Kera completes her castings. Its very fiber is interlaced with a network of glowing threads. Kera stands back, admiring her work, and concentrates. Slowly, ponderously, the gigantic sphere of stone eases itself slightly out of the hole, teeters on the edge for a moment, then leans a little further and rolls gently away from the well, following an almost imperceptable incline. It comes to a rest about fifty feet away, the momentum of its huge mass taking it quite far, even after Kera stops concentrating.

The instant the well is clear, a spray of clean water issues from it for a moment, as if a wave had crashed against a cliff and sent it into the air. A huge breeze of cool air issues forth from the well, feeling incredibly good on your sunburnt skins. Looking into the opening, you see that it is in fact a portal similar to that by which you entered the wasteland. About twenty feet below the opening is a sandy shore with a few large rocks. When the incoming waves hit the rocks, shocks of spray fly up and through the portal, dampening the cracked earth around you. The scene below seems lit by sunlight - but not as harsh a light as is currently baking you. The sand looks pretty soft, and you judge that you could drop yourself carefully the distance down to the shore without any risk. You can see nothing from your angle but the sand, rocks and water.

Elwent merely raises a brow and steps out over the opening, secure in the power of his ring to carry him safely to the ground below. "That's one test completed." He'll glance around as he floats down, taking note of the area and anything interesting within it. And he'll also be ready to call up some wind in case he needs to 'steer' his course.

OOC: Ring of Feather Fall ;)

Amisel looks to Kera and asks, "I hope this is the way to go . . . would you like some assistance for the drop down. I can invoke Featherfall upon you, if you wish."

Amisel will infuse both himself and Kera with life at 0 level (featherfall), then wait for Kera to go first. With one last look around the gorge, he will then proceed down the hole.

I'll assume Inkar goes too.

You find yourself on the rain-torn shore of a small island. All around you, a turbulent and stormy sea rages. There is no sign of the portal by which you entered this place. The island is indeed illuminated by sunlight - but now you see that it is coming in obliquely as the sun sets. The rest of the sky is covered in a roiling mass of low, dark storm clouds. There is no vegitation on the island at all. It is little more than a mound of sand bulging from the sea, about fourty yards in diameter. The rocks you saw are too small to provide any sort of shelter. It is not yet so wet that the beach is muddy, but it's progressing in that direction. The storm seems to be getting worse.

Halfway covered in sand, about ten feet away from you, is an ornate wooden box.
