Is the usage of magic allowed inside the auction hall?
Where can we find more information on the members of both families?

 

[Sullaf]

"The use of magic can be allowed, as long as it does not disturb the auction. Please keep in mind all that there are several really important people are coming. Not that you would know them... If you wish to learn more about the Houses, I suggest you go and find one of my assistants. They should be able to tell you a thing or two. Any more questions?"

 

[Ilan]

"Must I leave my trusted hammer behind??": I ask the noble with a serious face.

 

[Sullaf]

"But of course! No one is allowed to carry arms during the auction. Well except the normal guards... Remember no one is to know that you are working as guards, and I do think arms would be pretty much a dead give away...

 

[Ravellion]

"Nevertheless sir, you must admit that carrying a concealed dagger might be wise. If troublemakers would be armed in an alike manner, we would be soorly outclassed which would make our task harder to perform and likely to fail if it is needed... or are there going to be searches at the entrance to the auction hall?"

 

[Sullaf]

"Hmmm agreed, although all guest will be searched, there are some who simply can not be asked to 'strip'. You are free to try and conceal any weapon you want, although if the guards find one they WILL arrest you, in which case I will deny any involvement... As long as THAT is clear you can carry daggers, but I would strongly advice you not to carry anything bigger. My guards can be bribed but they are not stupid

 

[Ravellion]

Turning to the rest of the group: "I am carrying a dagger in a boot sheath. Will any of you come prepared in similar ways?"

[Guess I will be forced to leave my PAINLESS at home then...]

I always carry a dagger attached to my wrist, but I doubt I will find the need to use it. Since we will be searched I will conceal it within my robes. Guards always feel a little uneasy when searching a mage, who knows what you could encounter Argos says in a jolly voice My spells will be usable, the power to temporarily blind someone is both effective and not dangerous to anyone but the intended target.

Let us proceed to auction day then ...
