PC on PC action!

In our Wild West PBP (Story Hour is here somewhere) my saloon girl bard Ruby West has a very serious relationship with the gambler rogue-fighter Jake Cook. We both started the game with ideas of our characters being 'experienced' in the past and were both (seperately) going to play that. But whatever happened we had chemistry, as players and as characters and it just took off from there. Their relationship has developed over the last year that our PBP has been going. We never planned what was going to happen with their relationship we just played it out.

I LOVE it. We plot, plan, and scheme together. We are the two chaotic neutral characters so we can stick together against the goody-two shoes of the world, lol. Our characters have a level of trust and can work together so well, it's just another dimension of getting into character. Other players enjoyed our story so much they all went and got themselves hooked up too. Now, our PBP is fairly 'juicy' with some of our posts. There is no way I could be comfortable enough to do that at the table. We asked and triple asked that everyone else was ok with reading it and they all said they loved it.

As a matter of fact, Piratecat played in the very first night of this game, as we played two nights at the table before taking it to PBP. I think Black O'Dell may have been killed by Curley Bill Brocius though (sorry PC!). Can wait to see the pic :D

The pic of Pkitty replying to this thread is already up in the photo gallery. Mark and I have him at different angles.

In my current campaign I've got two PCs who just slept with one another, though the situation didn't happen at the gaming table and we didn't go into too much detail. Oddly enough (for my group) it was between two female PCs (one male and one female player), though the relationship is very much an open thing at this point. One of them is a very much a flexible true neutral, the other is very much NE.

"So I show interest in you, and then you go out and just randomly :):):):) a good aligned being because you're bored at the time?!" - one of that pair to the other.

One thing I notice though is that PC / PC 'action', regardless of PC gender, tends to be more comfortable between players if the players are compatible gender and orientation out of character (which for the vast majority will be the opposite sex).

I think I've been misrepresented. I'm not actually suggesting two players role-play 'to the max' as some people seem to think I am, nor am I suggesting anything untoward. I am merely saying that I have always wanted to have that player dynamic, where two PCs are involved with one another. It adds a dimension to the role-playing and makes for good adventure hooks, character interaction and a potential for character conflict. Anybody who is suggesting I am encouraging orgies at my gaming table has totally misinterpreted me.

I read the original post as wanting something like Kayleigh's relationship with Aran'gel in Wizardru's story hour, if Aran'gel had been a PC instead of an NPC.

I've been involved in this before, mostly via the traditional 'girl I was dating at the time sitting in on the game'. If only the RL relationship had gone as well as the in game relationships.:)

The only recent case of this was in a DnD game a few years ago and it was pretty understated and ultimately doomed to crash and burn in a Chiana-Dargo-Farscape fashion. Though the game ended before it got that far. I like to build character relationships, but it's mostly just that. Romance is very rare and no big deal.

Here is Piratecat, preparing himself before reading this thread
