PC race with a +2 Cha?

First Post
I think this has been asked before a while ago, but I didn't pay much attention to the thread and now I can't find it.

My question is... what races are there with a +2 Charisma without any level adjustments? This has to pass my DM's approval so humanoid creatures would be preferable, but definately not required. I would also prefer to have a size of small or smaller.

Any ideas?

Also, before people give me a thousand varieties of elves, I don't really like elves. I don't want to play a dwarf either since I am currently playing one. I love dwarves, but just want a change. Thanks. I am just deciding what other good choices I have when I start a sorcerer next campaign. Nothing has to be core... it just has to be written in a book somewhere so it can be referenced.

From WotC material, I do not know of any (w/o LA that is).

Maybe in AU or other 3rd party publications?

That is what I was afraid of.

If only there was a half halfling, half gnome character...
It could have a -2 Str, +2 Cha, gain all the abilities of a gnome except for the bonus to craft checks and all combat related abilities like weapon familiarity, attack bonus vs goblins, and dodge bonus vs giants. Then it could gain the +1 racial bonus on all saving throws from the halfling list. Would this be overpowered? I guess this would just be a house rule so to move back on topic, does anyone else recall anything with a Charisma bonus?

I know of plenty that give a Charisma penalty, but none that give a bonus.
I guess it is also hard to find a bonus to intelligence or wisdom. Maybe they do it on purpose to keep spellcasters from getting out of hand?

Negative on that. Sun Elf, FRCS, +2 Int. No LA.

It is possible though.

Unapproachable East, and I believe Races of Faerun, list the Star Elf race - a +0 level adjusted race that gets +2 charisma (preferred class Bard), and some other nifty benefits.

And while it's a level-adjusted race, the MM1's Nixie gets a comparatively HUGE charisma boost (+6, IIRC) - along with being amphibious, and having a decent DR (5/cold iron). That DR can really help a spellcaster survive in battle, since not many foes will be wielding cold iron weaponry ...
