All but two of my characters are the same gender as I: female. The longest running PC I had was a half-elf male ranger. Everyone was soooo relieved when I stopped the male character bit... ;)

Yeah, male characters can be so annoying.

Well, with the baby and and our work schedules and all, I would definitely say that my PCs get more...

...wait, that wasn't the question, was it? :uhoh:

If someone here is missing a post, it's probably because they missed an EN World rule:
Keep it civil: Don't engage in personal attacks, name-calling, or blanket generalizations in your discussions.
No blanket generalizations (or other rules violations) please, folks. This goes for everyone.

More male characters, but it's not like I avoid female characters. I just get more ideas with male characters since I'm more accustomed to that.

hehe, that's good..

I can't recall ever playing a female PC, though I do DM most of the time, so I don't get a whole lot of chances at different characters. I'll have to admit though, when people play a gender different than their own when I'm dming, I often forget that detail, and refer to them as their actual gender, simply because it's more accessible. *shrug*
