Appearance and Background: Dressed in black and grey clothes, Gwystyl presents a very different
picture from the average Grey Elf (if there is such a thing). His somber dress doesn't
carry over to his manner, however, as he smiles and jokes even in the most dire and
dangerous situations. It seems that danger is a stmulant to the Elf, though he is not foolhardy
or suicidal. Gwystyl wears a pair of swords, several daggers and a quiver of arrows&bow on his
back, along with a hand crossbow tha he keeps hidden under his cloak. A Quarterstaff is usually
in his hands, several rings and an odd (Gnomish, for those looking) clip like the ones
used for climbing(Indeed, he uses it to clip on to ropes for descents or to travel from rooftop
to rooftop).Gwystyl is a bit of a packrat, his pouches and especially his Haversack filled with
all manner of things. Gwystol travels with a Rat familiar named Dmitri, a Wharfrat that he saved
from several sailors trying to kill it in Elredd (The Wild Coast). Gwystyl himself stays elusive
as to where he is from, smiling and saying that his Past is his Past and his Future lies all across
Oerth...

Description/History:

Fealnne carries the aura of a proud and noble warrior, and his violet eyes peer intently through a mop of pale blonde hair. He wears dull greens and browns, suiting to his occupation. Fealnne's hawk companion, Tyrion, isn't spectacular in appearance, not unlike Fealnne, thought they work well together have done so for a respectable amount of time. His work mostly entails protecting nature from various threats, the most notable threat being nearby giants, and the occasional minor evil being they may summon up to aid them.

His bow originally was part of a dire bear's rib cage, his druid uncle's animal companion in fact. Both were well respected and considerably powerful. On one occasion though, when Fealnne was too young to fight, the giants from the mountains nearby made a particularly hard push to take the forest, rallying every sword arm with similar interests in the region. Reigann, Fealnne's uncle, and Goliath, Reigann's massive (intelligent) dire bear companion led the defense against the coming horde. The battle waged on for days, and when an opporunity presented itself, Reigann and Goliath led a counter-offensive and drove a wedge through the heart of the horde's lines, this was the turning point in the conflict, and though they both died in battle during this effort, the horde was routed and oblitterated, thus explaining the scarceness of giants in the region now, but their fervant efforts to destroy the forest. The original reasons for their doing this has been forgotten, they simply desire vengeance now.

Goliath's dying wish was that something useful be made of his remains, thus a number of weapons and suits of armour were created from his bones and hide. Fealnne received a inely made, but notably unenchanted bow, intricately carved with images of Reigann and Goliath in their finest hour. During a routine patrol of the forest perimeter though, Fealnne and a group of other guardians sighted a giant scouting party and combat ensued. At one point the leader of the scouting group was standing over an incapacitated comrade of Fealnne's, about to land a finishing blow. Fealnne let an arrow loose at the giant, and as it struck the giant in the throat a massive and unearthly roar, disturbingly similar to Goliath's roar of triuph, rung through the terrain. The giants' leader was thrown back by the force of the noise, bleeding profusely from his ears and neck, and he died moments later. The remaining giants fled for their lives at this point. He arrived back home a hero, and with a bow that now carried inexplicable enchantments.

That was some time ago and he is now assigned to the task of locating and rescuing the members of a patrol who went missing, some bodies were found but not all, and leads suggest the survivers were sold to a slave market run by the Sea Princes.

Background:	Born to an honest family of modest artisans, Will's childhood
 was scarred by witnessing the continual oppression, intimidation and 
humiliation inflicted upon his family (as well as upon mostly all commoners of his 
land) by tyrannical feudal lords, which eventually brought his mother to death 
after long illness when Will was only 10 years old, followed few months later by 
his father's death in prison (he was imprisoned two years before for having 
tried to organize migration/escape for his family from the land without 
permission). Will and his one-year younger sister Tera had to care for their lives 
alone in a town structured in rigid castes (with them belonging obviously to the 
lowest one), and although their freakishly red hair were everyday's occasion for 
them to be scorned by everyone, this weird feature of them eventually saved 
their lives by making them some kind of popular (to easily joke about). But with 
age, Tara became too much an attractive young woman to become unnoticed 
by the arrogant rulers of the land, and at the age of only 14 she was abducted 
to become some baron's wife; what happened to her next remained unknown 
by Will, who still hopes to find her alive and free. Alone in the world, Will turned 
to an adventuring life, leaving the land with a wandering caravan of artists and 
jugglers, and eventually tried to learn some prestidigitation tricks... only to 
discover later that what he was doing was real untamed magic. During all the 
years of adventuring, he gained his nickname "Mäelström" by the crew of the 
Twisted Coral, a treasure-hunters ship with which he had travelled for a long 
time, for his restless attitude and for being able and keen on blowing up things 
when angered.

Personality:	Make no mistake, Mäelström is a friendly person of good 
heart and great courage, but at the same time he has a hot temper and a 
terrible habit: he lies. Not for evil, not for gain, he just likes exercise his 
fantasy and his very good skill in making it very realistic. Nothing makes him 
more angry than tyranny, sopruse, dictatorship and every kind of way to 
restrict people's freedom or make them suffer. He hates rules and laws when he 
feels they are arbitrary or restrictive, and sometimes just because they are 
laws, and when confronting such situations he may either burst in anger or 
instead keep a quite appearance outside while scheming against it deep inside.

Rowena Elredd

Rowena was born the only daughter of The Lord Mayor of Elredd, on the wild coast, in CY 570. Her three older brothers each was destined for a post in the government, but Rowena’s best hope was being assigned a husband who wouldn’t beat her. Early on, she began to rebel. She pursued martial skills, and hung out with the soldiers. When the wild coast was overrun by the forces of the Pomarj, she fled with the remnants of her family to Furyondy. At age 15, she became pregnant, and gave birth to twins, Aragon and Jessica. She gave up her children to a wetnurse, and continued to train with the soldiers. Feeling very depressed and unfulfilled, she sat drinking one day, she appealed to all the gods to give her purpose. She passed out on the bar, and had a vision. Heironeous appeared to her, and told her he had a mission for her, but she had to prove herself worthy. Awaking, Rowena realized her hair had changed.
 

Before it was jet black, but now, a streak of it was pure white. And when she pulled it back, as she generally wore it, the white looked like a lightening bolt over her head. At this point, she became a Paladin. In the years that followed, she fought in numerous skirmishes with the forces of Turrosh Mak. She became a powerful and respected warrior. It was at this point, feeling capable of making a real difference in this world, that Heironeous again appeared to her, instructing her to undertake a crusade against a group of slavers that were again ravishing the region.

Rowena is 21, 5 foot 5, and 145 pounds.
