PC's Name is Funny/Disparaging Slang

In a distinctly light-hearted superheroes game I played in a few years back, one of the PCs was an alien who had come to earth to be a superhero (he was an alien janitor who was doing the hero-ing as part of an alien reality show, don't ask)

However, he didn't really get the nuances of earth culture, so he chose the superhero pseudonym "the Purple-headed Warrior". He never worked out why people kept laughing at him...

In my brothers game, he set down an NPC the players were just meeting and made a sound-effect as he did it... basically saying, "skuh-doosh"... the NPC's name never mattered after that as he was/is always referred to as "douche".
Sounds like he was referencing the title character in Kung Fu Panda, voiced by Jack Black. He uses that sound effect before using a secret martial arts technique to pop the head of his enemy (all off-screen, of course).

A player in my group decided to name his dwarf fighter "Dirty Sanchez", knowing full well what it meant.

Cheers, -- N

Indeed he was - we both say it from time to time ;)

Jack Black and I share chromosomes somewhere along the line. People often tell me that he and I have the same comedic personality. :)

In our most recent campaign, our characters are working their way through the City Watch Academy with hopes of joining the prestigious Thunder Hawks platoon. Having almost made it through the grueling basic training program, we decided to call our group "the Rock Hawks," in homage to the platoon name.

In character, we triumphantly told our drill sergeant that we wanted to be known as the Rock Hawks. However, we didn't really think through what it sounded like when said aloud quickly. The drill sergeant looked confused for a second, paused briefly, and then asked: "Why in the world would you want to name yourselves 'the Raw C**ks?'"

we had a tattoo design made and everything :(
