Why don't you grow up, Mister Poopenstain.

Cats and dogs living together, mass hysteria!Isn't that just what I was recently speculating in my 'ranger wild speculation' thread![]()
It's just an idea, I doubt this is the case at all but it could be one way they did it. Personally like many things in 4E, I don't think they will be particularly worried one way or another if people don't feel its effects are "martial" enough. It might even just be a "This stuff is based off the power of shadow, while most of their techniques are purely martial" or something.
Yep, that's what I meant. Such an assassin would have Martial combat powers mixed in with some Shadow illusion powers or some such. The new Assassin is not a new class or a replacement for the original class . . . it's a new build, just like all the other Essential "classes" in Heroes of the Fallen Lands. So, the new Executioner build is Martial, but could still choose powers from the original Assassin builds, resulting in a character with both Martial and Shadow powers.
I think this is what Klaus meant.

Not really different from a "fighter/magic-user", in that respect.
Yeah I am wondering as well. Perhaps the assassin has some shadow influence and hence can do some magical like things, despite being oestensibly a martial class? Perhaps wizards are going to destroy everyones mind by making it BOTH Martial and Shadow. I mean, heads will explode.
