Estefan stretches his muscular frame and recalls the shapes he has taken in the past to the forefront of his mind. It has been so long since he needed them, but it seems that he might need them soon and in the coming days.

With a look of determination and a powerful stride, the druid accepts the spell from the wizard and boldy steps into the mirror, looking about for signs of an enemy.

Pelor, let this be brave and not merely headstrong... For all my years I can't say I've ever seen the difference, except in hindsight...

Eigan steps through, clutching his holy symbol and sighing heavily.

The group of Eigan, Estefan, Rynin, and Verdane steps invisibly through the mirror and ends up standing 100' away from the battle. As they appear, they see the champions take down 2 more of the elementals. The ranger is injured fairly badly, though he's still standing and the priestess is moving for him.

Looking around in an attempt to see whoever it is that caused the eclipse (And likely the destruction of the capital), everything goes dark as the eclipse comes to its completion. IT is now a dark, starless night. Eigan and Estefan can only see about 10' away, but Rynin and Verdane (Thanx to the darkvision granted by their Robes) can see 120 feet, so the champions are still in sight for them.

Before anyone can react, a pinprick of light comes from about 40' in the air, flying over your heads towards the companions. As it passes over you, you all see that it is actually 4 large (2' diameter) balls of fire, and Eigan,Estefan+Verdane recognize the Intensified Meteor Swarm for what it is as it rushes forward.

Rynin and Verdane watch helplessly as the balls slams into the champions, sending the priestess flying, and incinerating the Ranger. The druid and Paladin are smoking and rolling on the ground, but the Drow Sorceror seems barely singed. The only good thing you can see is that the blast seems to have destroyed the last elemental.

Nobody can see what shot the meteor swarms, it seemed to come from about 200 feet away from you(oposite direction from the Champions), and 40' in the air.

OODM: OK, you're up.

Rynin, sensing the danger nearby swiftly flys to the point below where the point below where the spell seemed to eminate (activate boots, fly 400' in the direction of the last cast spell and hope the robe helps me see this type of invisibility). If the spellcaster can be seen, Rynin will attempt to move to melee range and hold action to disrupt any further casting while using the extra partial action to call upon an old friend, Euphrastes (Greater Planar Ally - Solar, stat block on my char sheet). After all, rushing into an engagement with a caster of this level isn't the brightest this he has ever done...but it could save the champion sorcerer's life... and blocking the sun dipleases Pelor!

OOC: divine inspiration is active for the first 10 rounds (+2AT/+2 dam), Haste (I think from the boots) for 10 rounds (+4 AC, ex. action), Great smite with his first blow...+2d6 with holy avenger if evil, +2d6+23 if Rend (hit w/right and left hand in same round),

do you want all this or do you want me to edit it out?

Edit: round one - haste, fly(into melee?); the other stuff is my initial plan.

Verdane, ever the cautious and cerebral one, gets out his gem of true seeing and tries to discern his adversary before acting against him.

OOC: I'll still have an action this round, given my hastened status.

Eigan's white gloves furrow and ripple across the gestures of his hands (haste activated for one round) as he casts True Seeing, looking with intent at the source of the meteor swarm...

(Remaining action depends on what is seen...)

Estefan speaks a word and his body begins to transform. His skin sprouts feathers and his arms grow incredibly long as they turn into huge wings. His nose and mouth converge and harden to form a large beak and his legs lengthen and sprout huge talons from them.

When he is finished, there stands a bird of enormous size and splendor. The bird cocks its head in the direction that it last saw the champions and gives a loud cry before lifting off into that direction.

OOC: Wild shape into a roc and fly (80, average) to the spot where i saw the champions last. If I find them, I will attempt to grab them and extract them.

Rynin flies towards the source, and once he gets closer (within 60') he sees a 6' tall dark-skinne human in flowing black robes emblazoned with red. the slight shimmering reveals the fact that he is in fact looking upon an invisible man. Unfortunately, the man is looking directly at Rynin, and his gaze hold so much evil power that even the hearty warrior is stopped in his tracks for a moment (Stunned for rest of round)

Verdane and Eigan hasten their movements and then look in the same direction, seeing the same thing as Rynin. They cannot feel the evil power, though, and may still act this round.

Estefan changes into the magnificent bird and swoops for the champions. At first sight of this giant Roc coming at them, the Paladin and Sorceror prepare themselves to do battle. Fortunately, the Druid recognizes the truth and quickly shouts for his companions to calm down, telling them that help has arrived. He then turns to the Roc and says in Druidic "the drow and I can handle ourselves, get the others to safety, please, great one", then turns into an owl and begins flying upwards. The drow polymorphs into an eagle and flaps off the ground.
Estefan gathers up the remaining three in his claws, and the three flying creatures begin moving away.

OODM: Need the extra actions fom Verdane and Estefan, then I'll post response to that, then next round begins.

Eigan moves sixty feet closer, and extends his hand toward this enemy, commanding him to remain on this plane (dimensional anchor, +29 ranged touch, CL check +38).

'Hopefully he does not prove too difficult to subdue... It is always too soon to take a life, and I imagine this one holds answers, if little hope...'
