I love this show.
I also love the opening dances (like everybody does). This season’s took a while to grow on me, but now it’s an earworm for me. James Gunn’s music taste is getting to me listen to genres of music I never did before.
Sadly, I had seen a ton of speculation about the Earth-X twist, so by the time it was revealed I was expecting it. I think it was about 3 weeks ago I saw folks online pointing out that everybody in that universe was white, and it was obvious from that point on.

I much prefer the dance and music from last season to this one, in the opening. Holding out hope for season 3.
I actively try to avoid online spoilers and if I'm looking to be surprised I'll stay out of them in threads here, so it hit me out of nowhere. I usually pick up on that sort of thing bu I guess because there was diversity, in the prime universe, it managed to slip by me until the big reveal.

Well it wasn't spoilers. It was just folks watching the show and speculating. Nobody knew anything. Just this time, they were right.
I thought the same at first but now I’ve had a Foxy Shazam playlist the last few weeks. The song slaps.

yeah I guessed that the name Blue Dragon while being the national hero was also a big nod to the KKK rank, but going full swastika on the flag was a little too blatant.

I have been digging it. I am ashamed to admit that I did not notice the lack of diversity in the other universe, but as everything there was going so well for Chris, I knew that something truly horrible had to be lurking somewhere to convince him to go back home (which we know he will). When the lady slowed down looking at Ads, I said "Oh there it is." Yikes!

Same. I felt that there was something off in the visuals but just didn't twig to what it really was, to my shame.

My first thought was some kind of 'stepford wives' set up, especially with Hardcourts character being the perfect girlfriend. But then Blue Dragon was a clue too
I’ve googled Blue Dragon but all I get is restaurants and D&D. What’s the clue?
