That mapping idea and the resolve tokens strike me, too, as a good innovation. :)

IT got me thinking about making a resource system for such a thing. I would try and keep in simple, but add an element of resource management as well. I think in a game like that where exploration is a key part of the game, it can make sense to have some resource management (food/supplies) - but like I said, I will make it pretty simple.

Sort of resource parcels as a counterpart to treasure parcels?
