Colbert is a wise-guy with a television show that's part news, part comedy. He's been mentioning D&D now and then. Peter Adkison is the guy who started Wizards of the Coast, made a bundle with Magic: The Gathering, bought TSR when it had gone belly-up, saved D&D and then sold WotC to Hasbro. A few years ago, he bought GenCon. GenCon is the gaming convention so many of us are going to this week.

Peter Adkison is very wealthy, but he's just a gamer geek like the rest of us.
