You might not realise that pet owners can taunt and play with other pets - not their own, though.

This is limited to 5 times a day, however.

I'm not quite sure of the effectiveness of Taunting and Playing, so we'll have to investigate that more.

Taunting decreases the Pleasure of a pet - I've seen it done as much as 5%
Playing increases the Pleasure of a pet - I've seen it done as much as 1%

For the time being, I will TAUNT another pet for the sum of 100 gp (virtual cash, of course!), and I will PLAY with a pet for the sum of 5 gp.

The playing cost may go up when we know how many points it increases pleasure by.

I'm going to do something else in another 90 minutes, so after that you'll have to wait until tomorrow for my services - but feel free to make deals with each other.

Anyone want to take me up on my offer?

Any pet owner can play or taunt other pets - it's only a monopoly if everyone else decides not to go commercial.

Indeed - though one must be very careful about undercutting my price on taunting. I made it so expensive for a reason: taunting is a dangerous business!

If you sell taunts cheaply, you make yourself a target for everyone who doesn't appreciate your kenderlike ways.

Some nice person just played with my cat; the cat gained +5 and +3 pleasure.

So, that gives us an idea as to the levels involved.
