Photoshop or CC2

What do you use to make maps, and what do you think looks best?

Does it just really depend on what you know better, or do you prefer one over the other?

CC2-Pro - I can do any map I want to with it and I like the way they look. I have played with Photoshop and it is art more than mapping.

Both require time to learn and playing around to master.

I use Illustrator 10.

The Symbols function (an image alias) let me drag and drop mountains, trees and hills, without having to cut and paste all the time. Land and water are custom colors and filters (not a real artist for the record) to get the look for plains, scrub or swamp.

I found the Photoshop (even after taking a class) just did not have the flexibility of Illustrator for the tasks I wished to do.
