Picture is worth a thousand words

First Post
I'm looking for a picture, preferably drawn, but paint or anyother is acceptable. What I am looking for is an angel w/ wings extended to each side prepared for battle. I have seen a picture that meets these requirements in the past, but am unable to relocate it.

Any help would be much appreciated as I plan to scar my body by tatooing the angel on my back... "my guardian angel, don't you know?" hehe..

Thanks all in advance.

I think this qualifies for the off topic discussion.

Anyway, I would warn you that traditional tatooing is for life. Then, as with many things in life*, you will greatly enjoy the tatoo for a few months, then you will forget about it, then much later you may well be really annoyed to have a tatoo on your back, and could go to great lengths (read: high costs in $) to have it removed. So I would suggest for a false tatoo...

(*: even rpg, but fortunately D&D has been renewed so many times, and now with d20 supplements renewing the game; but would it be still D&D 1973, I would have tired of gaming a long time ago)

I like the picture, but not so much as a tattoo... to get a bit more specific I guess what I'm really hoping for is a "lifelike" angel, meaning I can see the face and it has a "realistic" body outline be that an outline from armor, skin, or clothing. I am really focused on the wings being well drawn, something you would picture to be on an angel. The actual pose doesn't bother me so much as whether the angel is kneeling as if in prayer or upright.. when I state meaning for battle I am really looking for just an angel that gives a sense of being regal, or an actual angel that is bearing sword and shield or any other items... just looking for a hand.. had a great pic but lost it and looking for a replacement.

To comment in closing on the permanency of this, I understand the fact fairly well and do mention that I post this here because of my love for Role-playing and the hope that some here might know of a proper picture or drawing because of its bearing on DnD.. that said I would never get a tattoo just for DnD.

Too bad it's not currently up, but if it were, I'd refer you to a certain Red vs. Blue PSA dealing with the subject of tattoos. :]

Lamest. Advice. Ever.

I'm very tattooed and have been since I started at 16.

A false tattoo is for a false person. If you want to get a tattoo (I would hope) that you aren't the kind of person who would settle for what is essentially makeup.

Trust your instincts. Make sure you choose well, because it will be (more-or-less) permanent.

The time between when I choose an image and when I go get the ink actaully done is 3 months. If I change anything about the design, it resets the clock to 3 months.

I have yet to regret any of my tattoos.

Here is the only one that has made it into a tattoo magazine.

Right. So all those people who like the idea of body-mods, but who work in professions that simply don't allow it are all "false people". Good one on the sweeping generalization, TB.
