With PH3 out, I remember a character concept of a Pillow Fighter.

Challenge: Create a 4E character that uses only Pillows (I'll allow Down Filled) as weapons.

I like the armor they're wearing.

It's not much of a challenge these days.

Take a monk or multiclass monk and add it to... anything except a rogue.

They then wear a chi focus and can make all their attacks through pretty much anything at all. You might lose a point or two through lack of proficiency in improvised weapons (if you take a weapon class), but it's only a minor loss.

Yeah, a monk can pretty much obliterate anything with, well, anything he or she can wield. Pillows, pots, pans, small animals, you name it.

An assassin or an MCed assassin can do similar things.

Wait, is the challenge to make an effective combatant, or a combatant who has super sexy pillow fights?

This should be bard cheerleader all the way, no?

Warlord Princess build all the way... and the pillows can be bounced to distract enemies and jiggled to inspire your allies... ummm wait wrong pillows.
