Pirate Borg: Buried in the Bahamas (room for more)

Sorry for the delays, all. Work has been busier than expected this month -- compounded because I'm taking a vacation, which means extra work is being shoveled on me now, of course -- plus family stuff plus entering into the thick of seasonal depression, which makes brain stuff like running RPG games harder.

This adventure remains a top priority for me, so I hope you all stick around. We're just at about the halfway point (pretty good for an ENWorld play by post!) and more awfulness adventure awaits!

(1d8) = 1HP recovered :p
(1d2)= 2 Devil's luck recovered
(1d6) = 2 STR goes from 0 to +1
(1d6) = 6 Agility goes from -1 to +0
(1d6) = 4 Presence goes from -1 to 0
(1d6) = 2 Toughness goes from +4 to +3 :(
(1d6) = 1 Spirit goes from -1 to -2 :(

(1d6) = 5 HP from 14 to 19...my toughness went down a point, does that affect HPs?

I can't find class abilities

Yes to losing hit points.

The level-up rules for the Brute:

Pirate Borg said:
Every time you gain experience, roll one of the following (d6). Reroll repeats.

1. Liar's Dice.
A small bag of 5d6. Roll them at the start of combat. If the total is even, -2 dr for melee attacks, but defend with +2 dr.

2. Booms tick.
Listen up. You find a top-of-the-line blunderbuss. You got that? “Boomstick" Blunderbuss dr8 to hit & d10 damage when in melee range, otherwise dr12 and d4 damage.

3. Blood Frenzy.
+2 to damage rolls for each enemy you’ve killed so far this battle. Resets/ends after 10 rounds (1 minute) of no death.

4. Tavern Boxer.
Your fists deal 2d4 and ignore Fumbles.

5. Thick Skinned.
You count as wearing light armor even when you aren’t (tier 1, -d2).

6. Grog Breath.
When in melee range, belch to stun an opponent for 1 round. Limit once an hour unless you drink more grog.

Things have slowed down a bit during the holiday season, just as we're about to move onto the next phase of the adventure (we're either halfway or a third of the way through the adventure, depending on player choices).

If anyone else is interested in jumping in, there will be opportunities to meet up with the group once they shove off from the island.
