Gnometown Hero
The crab monster dragging Knives away is visibly injured, with cracks visible in its carapace and some of its eyes burned away, but it's still moving toward the water.

Knives screams and weeps: "Please, stop it!"

He and the monster dragging him are now fully out of the circle of firelight and pursuing them will require going out into the waiting crowd of crab-things and leaving the safety of the light.

Desiree "The Leperchaun" Groves
HP: 11/14 Luck 0/2 (1d2);
Equipment: 2 portions of rum; 4 portions of water

With renewed ferocity, Leperchaun launches attack after attack at the crab, burning and cracking its carapace. Dodging around like a madman, he avoids the incoming claws and teeth.

"Come on boy, stop yer blubberin' and get by the fire!"

17 to hit: 2 damage

20 to dodge. Crit!(again!)

Extra attack is 14 to hit; 1 damage

My d20 is on fire! my damage is crappy though. I'll use my remaining devil's luck to deal Max damage (4) on the crab with second attack.

Total damage = 6

((By my count, we're up to 8 points of damage done to the first critter. He's still hanging in there, but he's not looking great. You'd definitely pick a different crab monster from the tank at the local seafood restaurant.))
