Desiree “the leperchaun” Groves isn’t scare of some oversized squid. He has Moby’s Ruin at his side. He readies the harpoon to impale the insufferable invertebrate.

At the last possible moment, he takes a deep breath and leaps into the air and dives headlong into the water meeting the kraken’s charge head on.

((Desiree will attack by diving into the water.
ATT: 1. Ugh.
Devil’s luck to reroll.

Safari braces himself, holding tight to all his belongings, especially his runic machete. As soon as there is an opportunity and he is within range of the ghostly kraken, he will lunge out with a desperate melee attack, if he is still standing.

Melee attack. d20 roll = 6 + 1, so he misses the attack. Uses 1 devil's luck to reroll. 14+1 = 15, a hit! Damage d6 roll = 2

Desiree plunges into the water to meet the ascending kraken, stabbing out at the ghostly kraken as it passes by. There's a moment where it feels like the harpoon might be sucked out of his grasp, but instead he jams a third harpoon into the beast's translucent flesh before ripping it free.

Aboard the raft, Safari hacks at the beast's luminous shape with his machete. Unfortunately, the rocking of the vessel spoils Bedlam's blow.

((Kraken has suffered a total of 9 points of damage.))

The great beast's beak pierces the surface of the water and it howls in a torment that seems far worse than just the relatively minor blows struck against its great shape. One tentacle bursts out of the water, attempting to encircle Bedlam.

((@payn, please make a DR12 Agility check.))

Desperately taking another swing, Safari despairs for his and Philips life. Is this where it all ends? His swing connects but must have it a bunch of barnacles or something, the damage is only minimal.

Melee attack. d20 roll = 3 + 1, so he misses the attack. Uses his last devil's luck to reroll. 12+1 = 13, a hit! Damage d6 roll = 2

Bedlam scores another minor hit on the ghostly kraken.

((1 damage, for a total of 10 damage.))

One of the kraken's tentacles lashes out in response, slamming into Bedlam.

((3 damage))
Desiree hold on tight in the water. Is there something else that is torturing the creature?
The harpoons rip at the flesh around the kraken's eye, even in death, causing it to wince as they ripple through the water.

Desiree stabs another harpoon into the kraken's flesh, biting deep.

((8 damage, for a total of 18 damage.))

Another tentacle lashes out, but Desiree ducks under it.

Safari desperately slashes, cutting away a piece of "flesh" that vanishes in the water.

((2 damage, for a total of 20 damage.))

((Can I get a defense roll, @Maggan? It's a DR12 Agility roll.))
