Despairing for his and his comrades' lives, Safari is intent on driving this monstrous being back into the depths from whence it came. Maybe a last furious blow will finish the beast? But alas, the blow is more vicious than it is accurate.

Melee attack. d20 roll = 15 + 1, so the attack connects. Damage d6 roll = 1. Damned be my damage dice! Damned all the way to Davey Jones' locker!

Bedlam fails wildly at the creature.

((1 damage, for a total of 21 damage.))

((I need Safari's dodge roll as well, please.))
Desiree "The Leperchaun" Groves
HP: 16/18 Luck 1/2 (1d2);
Equipment: 2 portions of rum; 4 portions of water
Stats
Str: 1 Ag: 0 Pres: 0
Tough: 3 Spirit: -2

Desiree attempts to dislodge one of the spectral spears from the creature.

((action; dodge: 1D20 = [12] = 12 If this is a strength roll, add 1 = 13

Dodge 1D20 = [9] = 9 Fail))
Desiree yanks one of the spears free. It dissolves into sea water as soon as it leaves the creature's flesh -- as much of a ghost as it is.

The kraken's tentacle, which had been coming up to attack, pauses a moment and then passes over harmlessly as the beast's eye refocuses, switching a moment from glaring at some long-ago tormentor to, for a moment, seeing the present day.

Bedlam fails wildly at the creature.
Bedlam stabs into the beast as well, not succeeding at doing much damage, and is able to dodge the distracted creature's half-hearted attack in response.

((1 damage, for a total of 22 damage.))

((I need Safari's dodge roll as well, please.))

Defense. d20 roll = 14 (13 + 1 Agility), the attack misses him.

Sidestepping the flailing tentacles, Safari narrowly escapes being struck down by the beast.

Although the ghostly kraken seems a little confused by one of the harpoons being taken out of its flesh, it seems to otherwise still be as healthy as a ghost kraken can be.

((Next round of rolls, please.))
