Esperanza nods approvingly as her passengers manage to stay aboard. And then one more shark rams the boat and she goes overboard and into the water.

The sharks close in for the kill as she flails in outrage and then terror.

As she fights to stay afloat, a cloud of dark red spreading around her, obscuring the sharks tearing at her, Esperanza sputters a curse at the pirates watching from aboard her ship.

"Murderous boat thieves!" she coughs, spitting out blood and water. "May you never know a peaceful night on land and may the -- argh! -- sharks follow you every moment at sea!"

And then she's violently jerked below the water.

She does not resurface.
