D&D 5E Playtester profiles - I got interviewed

Has anyone been reading the Playtester Profile series on the WotC site? They ask different people for their backgrounds in gaming and their thoughts about Next.

I did one in February.

A few other EN Worlders have too:

Piratecat
Klaus
Kamikaze Midget
Morrus

There might be more, but those are the ones I've seen.

How do the sorts of opinions in these playtester profiles line up with your own?

You guys seem quite moderate compared to a lot of the views I've seen expressed around wotc. That's probably why they chose you ;). I think the series highlights nicely how different games can be within the same umbrella that is D&D.

Hah! You didn't get told yours was the most dangerous opinion someone had ever seen! I still win!

I'm dangerous.

I'm dangerous.

I just finished reading that line of commentary. Some valid counterpoints were leveled, but awash in a sea of vitriol. I couldn't help but to laugh. Here, I'd been reading your opinions on game design, while (apparently) unwittingly endangering my mortal soul.

Hahaha, those of us who were interviewed should get an online playtest game together and post a Story Hour here -- I think I need a few of Morrus's dangerous ideas in my regular rotation! Clearly, I'm slacking off, everyone who commented on my post seemed to like all of my ideas. ;)

I'm not sure if the word "everyone" is quite fair ;)
