Dude, that's awesome! The one in the center of the first picture looks just like a coke can!

<ducks to avoid airborne pottery>

Seriously, though, I know next to nothing about pottery, but the blue 'dragon scale' glazing effect is cool.

I love them! Especially like the one that's on its own in the third image.

I remember trying out some basic ceramics a while ago...gods, I can use a pencil but working with my hands was pathetic. I envy you. :)

I particularly like the one with the tapered in top, there's a nice subtlety to the way you've blended the blue on the white ceramic. How much of that is on purpose, how much of that is the luck of the firing?

Hmm. I have fired so many I kinda have some control over my luck. Kinda.

Does that make sense?

So I went to your linked 'My Pots' ceramics site and didn't see any similar blue items - is this something new you're experimenting with?

Despite my earlier smart@$$ comment, I do really like the brilliant blue on white and scale/crystallization effect.

Just for curiosity, if they are for sale, what would they go for?

Yes, this is all new.

About $135 a piece. :)

Something like — It's all the luck of the firing, but you can somewhat control the firing to increase the chances of getting what you want. You're working in probabilities not actualities.

They look great, btw.

Wow those are seriously nice alsih2o. As the proud owner of one of your pots already I can say you do excellant work. I may need to add another to my wifes potter collection for her birthday this year, and something like that would be perfect.

I may be in touch shortly! :)
