A little too much, I think. Kill one minion every round as a minor? No. But I like the idea, and I'd do it this way...

Minor Action
Effect: Until the end of the encounter, whenever you hit an enemy with a melee attack, deal 1 damage to a second enemy adjacent to you.
Ruthless Ruffian - deal Str(?) modifier damage to adjacent enemy

I also like:
Leisurely Shanking
An untrained enemy tries to interrupt your attack. You drop him without even looking.

or

Ignoble Ending
"This is the part where you fall down {and bleed to death}"
 


A minion killer attack for a striker?

My favorite defender has green flame blade... kills a bunch of clumped minions (more than three)... role overlap.... a Barbarian leaping into a bunch of minions goes berserk he is a striker right? ... and he sure can put smack down on a few minions all without spending those minor actions.

Or did I miss something?

I guess barbarian bladesweep isnt an at-will. But it certainly fits the archetype to have a frenzy which just hits everyone nearby. Oh yeah great cleave.. slap forehead... nastier than hitting minions way nastier.. encounter power.

Solid skinning those... I always like these kinds of variations.
I made a thread and we did the fighter core powers plus some from martial powers, perhaps we should start a thread for the rogue.

Blood Splatter- Fighter Attack ?
Daily. Martial, Weapon
Standard-Action
Melee Weapon
Target: One creature
Attack: Strength vs. AC
Hit: 2[W] + Strength modifier damage. If the target is bloodied, each creature adjacent to it is dealt 1 damage and blinded until the end of your next turn.
