I chose LOTR, but if you're going to put stinker trilogies like BTTF and the Matrix on the list, which each have exactly one good movie per series, then you should have also included the Rambo trilogy (which had two good films), Godfather trilogy (two good, er great films), the Terminator trilogy (all three were good), Mad Max (all three were good), and the Alien trilogy (the fourth film doesn't exist.)

You would have to make this a toughy, wouldn't you?!?!?! Darn you!

I. CAN'T. PICK. JUST. ONE.

Gotta pick them all.....

But can't..... ARRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!

Um.... well..... except for the Matrix as I've never seen any of those.

The LotR movies, any day. I may be the only person on these boards to say this, but (much as I loved them when I first saw them) I can't sit through any of the Star Wars movies now. Yes, I do mean the original trilogy, and yes, I ...

LOOK! A TIE-FIGHTER!

Star Wars & LotR are fanastic, awesome and wonderful.

I shall not choose one over the other. However, I voted Star Wars because it has been with me my whole life. But if I could have chosen both I would have.

I will say that the Matrix Trilogy doesn't belong on that last, to me. I really only liked the first one.

Please tell me you're 18 or older. *smile*

Star Wars I care about most. In Lord of the Rings, the ending doesn't have enough pay off for me, somehow. I love Fellowship, but Return of the King just doesn't end well enough. I really get into the struggle at the end of Return of the Jedi, though.

Honestly, if you have both a Jedi and a King returning, which one would you be more interested in?

and the Alien trilogy (the fourth film doesn't exist.)

I had forgotten about the Alien movies. They were great. I remember seeing the first one at the movies and it scarred the pants off me. The second one was one of the best action movies I have seen. The third was a little forgettable though.

I hear they are making a new Rocky movie. Who would pay to see that???
