D&D General Poll: Did you watch the D&D cartoon when it was new?

If you watched any part of any episode of the original Dungeons & Dragons cartoon during its original run in your home country, the answer is yes.

If you've only seen it after its original run in your home country - in syndication, on home video, online, etc. - the answer is no. (If you've never seen it at all, the answer is obviously also no.)

Hmm, I suppose that would be a side effect. (Though it originally aired in some countries much later than others - 1993 in South Korea, for example.)

Yep. I can't say I saw every episode, but I did watch the cartoon way back when I was just a wee lad.

Speaking for myself, I have fragmentary memories of watching it a little when I was very little (which still counts as a "yes" for this poll). Enough that it gave me the impression D&D was some singular coherent fantasy world, until I became familiar with 2e (and its many settings) in the mid-1990s.

I didn't sit down and properly watch it until I was an adult in the 2010s, on DVD.

I was thrilled to see a D&D cartoon. Slightly disappointed, but it was better than nothing.
I always wondered how they ever expected to make level if they didn't kill anything.

most of it.... I was a grownup when it came out, had a job, etc, so I wasn't always able to see it first run, but I did see the entire series (I think) eventually as they did reruns...
