[Poll] Do you game with friends?

I kind of need an other option.

I PbP mostly with online acquantainces, though one person is a friend in real-life.

Whenever I play FtF, it's usually with friends, but not always.

I game with friends. Even if they start out as strangers at the table, I like the think of them as friends afterwards.

My group started off as acquiantances, worked its way to those who I only did gaming related stuff [even not on days we did dnd, but was more limited to rpg video games, etc], and has a while ago reached the point where we do plenty of other stuff besides gaming.

A few years ago, I pretty much only gamed with those I considered “friends.”

Getting married changed all that. Games are farther and fewer between these days. Occasionally, some new faces will show up at the table (as the players branch out and find other gamers at work, or get new boy/girlfriends, etc...) While I would certainly be open to forming friendly relationships with these new faces, heck if I have the time to do so.

Generally, I play with friends. I have little enough social-time and little enough gaming-time that I don't feel a particular desire to play with folks I don't know and like.

The exceptions to this are the occasional convention or EN World Gameday, and when life makes it so old friends can no longer be there, and you need new friends

I voted #1. I'd love to play under a 35+ year old GM I've never met before, though. I'm sure I'd learn something good that way.

I voted #4 simply because all my games are PbP and I've never met any of the people I game with. Would I socialize with the if they lived closer? Don't know - other than gaming I don't really know what they're like that much. They're fun to game with, but they might not be fun to do anything else with!
