Poll: How often do you buy RPG books?

This poll has probaly been before, but since there is so many books coming out that have poepl interested, thought it would be interesting for an update.

edit: i buy once a year or maybe twice, its all a college student can afford. :\

I buy them every few months or so. Not many - I have no time to game, but I still try and keep myself at least partly attached to RPGs by buying what interests me. Though even there I am not keeping up - there are probably plenty of 3rd party books I'd be interested in that I haven't had time to find / buy. (I have gotten a few of them). I keep up with the wizards stuff just because I can easily afford it and I like to do so.

2-4 books a month, sometimes more.

A few a month, my buying habits of gone down over the past 6 months.

i buy a book or two every month.

though given the size of the market, there's a huge jump from that to supplement whore (buying everything).

i'm a D&D whore. i buy everything.

edit: which means i make at least 1 purchase every week. which can be as small as a single set of dice to as much as $1000.

edit2: come to think of it...that makes me a D&D John...not a whore..cuz i'm the one spending the money. :\

that would mean upgrading my camera and my computer. sorry, i spent the money on D&D stuff instead.

i once purchased all of the metal minis from a hobby shop that went bankrupt for pennies on the dollar. plus all their dice. and that was back when i was bagging groceries and delivering papers and collecting aluminum cans for cash.

edit: due to the purchase...i had a ton of RPG stuff. a literal ton. used to be an interesting thing to brag about amongst fellow gamers.

RPing for 3 years, I have about 40 books...
But I must say that I got about 20 of them in the last 6 months.
I have a bad feeling about this.

Long answer: once every other month or so. More often if there's a new book I just need...
That's not counting PDFs though.


Short answer: Whenever I can afford it.
