My list would include

1ed psionics
1ed paladin-cavalier
1ed anti-paladin
1ed fighter attacks against less than 1hd creatures- saw this used by a fighter to wipe out eight kobolds a round- the amount that could git around him!

Did'nt the first ed. monk get multiple attacks per round and do something like 1D10 per hand and 1D12 per foot damage?

Every single prestige class to date?

I dare someone to find me a quality prestige class from Wizards that is actually useful outside of campaign settings. Which, tellingly enough, is what they were designed for. Wizards can't even follow their own suggestions.

I won't even talk about prestige classes, don't have the time. :)

I will talk about a particular kit or fighting style. I don't remember which 2E book it was from, but it was some sort of Italian florentine fighting style that when the character was fighting with the style, it was either impossible or next to impossible to hit the damn character. That sucked real bad if your not that player.

The Nimbral Mage kit, from 'Wizards & Rogues of the Realms (a 2e book).

Gave free specialisation in illusion (but with no barred schools), bonus spells by Int (only clerics got bonus spells in 2e), permanent detect magic and infravision (for a human), and a magic cloak from first level.

Admittedly the drawbacks were pretty strong: no weapons (at all, or you lost your spells for a month), no Con bonus to hp, and 1d3 HD, so you were fairly fragile, but as one hit would usually kill a standard 1st level mage, you weren't really that much worse off, and you had 4 spells to his 1.

I loved it! :D

no.

it isn't per hand nor per foot. it is per attack. they do get multiple attacks at higher levels.

edit: this means 5/2 means you get 5 attacks per 2 rounds. you can say for flavor that you strike with 2 hands and a foot the 1st round. and 2 hands the 2nd round if you choose. but it doesn't mean you can strike with 2 hands 2 feet every round.

nor is the damage that high until higher levels.
