D20 Modern

Now that has my interest. Mostly because d20 Modern is supposed to be a little more tame in most respects compared to d20.

Now I'd like some details ... psionics, weird science, anything like that?

Funny how the designers keep saying d20 Modern is for the modern day and people keep pushing the evelope, and the staff of Polyhedron are the vanguard of the movement.

All those who think d20 Future will be a big seller for d20M raise their hands. :)

Psionics are mentioned in passing as possibly being in-genre, but the ILOJ setting itself doesn't use'em. (That I noticed.) d20 Modern psionics would be absurdly easy to add, though.

Plenty of weird, crystal based technology, described as a legacy of an earlier empire. There are a couple of Advanced Classes that deal with this technology.

The White Veth (if they made it in...) are an albino sub-caste of Veth which gain Wild Talent at first level.

Since I haven't seen the issue yet, I am not sure what, if anything, changed in editing between my draft and the final version, so, I'm hesitant to answer questions about content based solely on what I submitted. My experience with editing over the years has been everything from "They printed it verbatim...including that typo on page 3" to "Uhm, why did they pay me for this if the only words they kept were 'the', 'and', and 'a'?", so, I'll wait to see what was printed before I make any definitive comments about what's in. I also think they split it into two issues, with next issue containing more of the material, so I'm really in the dark about what actually ended up in Issue 101.

Yes, the White Veth did make it in #101, and also at the end of the mini-game it states that there will be more material in the next issue of Poly.

However, this may be a little off topic, but I can't find this Wild Talent feat. Is it from Urban Arcana, or am I just missing something? Thanks
