Polyhedron on Main Star Wars site!

Thanks, Moridin, that's a good start!!

Now all we need are some Republic ships that aren't quite so...ugly. ;)

But seriously, this is good. I know the Incom Z95 Headhunter is in use as well.

So now I have three ships of three different sizes to refer to.

Nice!

Gospog, we know that these ships are part of the fleet of the Judicial Department (roughly big to small):
Rendili StarDrive Dreadnaught
Corellian Space Cruiser (seen to be red in various places; I don't know why Moridin thinks the Judicial ones are grey)
Corellian Star Shuttle
Corellian CR90 Corvette (holonetnews.com)
Corellian Lancet (Cloak of Deception)
Tri-Mark VII Interceptor (Bounty Hunter)

The grizzled pilot near the start of the Episode I novelization, who was part of a "Republic fighter corps" -- which could mean the Judicial Department, or a planetary defense force -- said he liked the Z-95 Headhunter, which provides a connection there. There are a lot more Republic-era starfighters that have been established.

Lucas Licensing thought there was a Republic Navy when the Living Force Campaign Guide was written, but it's since been clarified that the forces mentioned are part of a local navy; I can't find the link just this second.
...here it is.

Wow! This is awesome!

I never expected so much help. Thanks, guys!

And yeah, according to all the Episode I guides I read, diplomatic ships are red.

Thanks again.

Episode I Incredible Cross-Sections and the novelization say the red symbolizes ambassadorial neutrality, but later sources shift the nuance towards Coruscant/the Republic, and the Judicial Department ships in Cloak of Deception, Jedi Council -- Acts of War, various arcs of Republic, and HoloNet News are certainly all red.

Hmm...well, this is slowly getting to the point of a EU vs. Movie canon discussion...which never really turns out good. I tend to lean towards diplomatic red though, since that seems to be more associated with the movies themselves...though an official answer would be interesting, if not impossible to get.
