Personally I think its more impressive to have been a member for four years and have 200 posts, it proves that you have other things that keep you busy in life- like maybe showering, or getting out of your parents basement, or going to the gym, or I don't know- anything else.

Back to the OP ... Join date is almost as meaningless as postcount. I mean, so somebody joined a week ago and they already have 1,000 posts. What about a person who joined 4 years ago and only has 65 posts?

My point is that value, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. I tend to respect people's opinions much more when i see they've gotten over 1,000 posts. It usually means they've been around ENWorld to know how things work.

I can't tell if I should be insulted or not :D .

Showering = good thing.

Postcount = postcount+1

It's important because once you get to 5,000 posts, an admin or moderator will personally buy you a beer.*

*Not a guarantee

I didn't get even a congrats!

It means nothing. Post count is merely a game to pass away time and laugh at something unimportant when one needs a laugh.

however a beer sounds good right now to go with my chedder pretzels.....
