[PR BAD AXE GAMES] Heroes of High Favor: DWARVES

I just received my copy in the mail today! I think the book is great. The prestige-classes are well thought out as are the feats. I think my favorite part is the section on Crafting -- brilliant! This section adds a ton to these skills and opens up a lot of interesting possibilities. Congratulations on a well done sourcebook.

Thanks Doug! I am rather fond of that section myself.

The inclusion of key skills (race and class) will be carried out across the line of products, and this is the one section where I don't mind really pushing the envelope. Some neat stuff for half-orcs and elves is on the way, too.

Wulf and Nikchick,

We over at the Osseum side of things are getting the latest information from ALL the great publishers we work with, and hopefully we can get the list updated this coming week.

I can tell you, I think that OGL Interlink is killer and would love to see more publishers thinking cooperatively about their products.

By the way, we do not share publisher title lists until they have been publicly posted. Just so no one thinks we were supposed to tell anyone about someone else's titles. That is confidential until we are able to publicly announce them.

I think adding all of the publishers to the distribution list for solicitations and order forms might help this a bit as well.

Thanks,

I'm jealous of ya Tony. Jealous. Hopefully I'll be able to review it for D20weekly before anyone else but that's less likely now.

Hey Joe...

Your absence at the Games Day is going to cost us both... Grr.

I have one copy sitting here on my desk I can give you. Any chance we can hook up and hand it off?

Otherwise best case, I will have it to you on Tuesday.

Little old me...

Man, I gotta become a reviewer... here's little old me waiting nervously for the book, having shelled out for it with my own cash on the website and all, and hearing all the reviewers have gotten it already... I'm bouncing off the walls screaming, "when will it get here?"

[Note to self - become reviewer]

Just kidding, Wulf, but I am REALLY looking forward to this one.

:)

"My first 3e character? Dwarf Skurgebane."

(Really, it was.)

Well, Doug's not a reviewer either, Spence. He got his through the good ol' USPS. (Though frankly I am surprised they were so quick about it...)

You should have yours shortly, they were mailed at the same time. Yours has a few more states to cross though. Given the holiday and the weekend, I am betting on Monday.

Feel free to review it when you get it. :D

Spoke too soon...

Erm... ahem...

It seems that the US Mail arrived about five minutes after I posted. Guess what was in it? :sheepish grin: That's right, a certain book I was waiting for... hehe...

I'm devouring the contents now. :D

That'll teach me to open my big mouth  but hey, I guess complaining must've gotten it here (Murphy's Law).

I'm always willing to work something out. Games Plus? Randhurst Mall? Something Else?

Hell, back before Kenzer had Knights of the Dinner Table, they hand delivered their old boxed set Kingdoms of Kalamar which I still have.
