just whated to say sorry for posting so meny questions as of late and thanks for all the help you all have been giving me. **Bows low in respect**

today I find myself wonding if you have a 4lvl cleric 4lvlwizard 10lvl mystic theurge

and then add the feat practiced spellcaster to mystic theurge *since the feat says chosen spellcasting class * will this then make your ECL for cleric 18 and wizard 18?

thanks agin for all the help you have giving me.

MT isn't technically a spellcasting class. It advances spellcasting, but it is not a spellcasting class itself... so the answer is no. Looks like you'll have to take PS twice.

Yes, that is correct. Practised spellcaster would only work for the cleric or the wizard each time you took it. Taking it twice would do what you wanted.

A general rule of thumb is if the class says something like "+1 _____ spellcasting" then Practised Spellcaster does not work for it. But, if the table actually lists the number of spells at a given level (such as wiz, sorc, cleric, favored soul, etc) then it applies.

I am not sure if it would work with PrCs like Divine Crusader or Holy Liberator from Complete Divine. My guess is that it should work, but that is far from an official answer.

Correct. MT advances spellcasting in two classes at once, be it wizard/cleric, warmage/favored soul, or whatever other combo you have. You would, in fact, need Practiced Spellcaster twice to get its benefits for both spell classes.

Fear the ogre sorcerer!

It can work on racial hit die, though (so, it can kinda make up for LA with races with racial HD, but not LA itself (sorry pixies))

Fear the Ogre Sorcerer with Practiced Spellcasting! Fear the max 14 cha at character creation!

Actually fear the Dragons when you can't reliably dispel thier mage armor and shield.

Practiced spellcaster is one of those feats smart players ask the DM NOT to allow. The fact the feat is worded using hit die rather than character level is a hint the PCs won't be the ones benefiting from it the most...

Practiced Spellcaster is a MUST (if you're allowing it) with monster spellcasters. I had a piddly little cloud giant sorcerer in my Eberron game that gave the PCs fits because his "puny 4 levels of sorcerer was dishing out 4 dice lesser acid orbs and such. :)
