D&D 4E Pramas and Mona Talk 4E and the OGL

Man, this thread has gone off the rails. Maybe we could discuss the actual content of the podcast. There were some things that were news to me.

1) It sounds like Freeport may be featured in the campaign setting for Pathfinder.
2) GR is going to provide True20 stats for Pathfinder.
3) GR is probably going to do a 4E Freeport Companion. This is interesting because in a different thread Chris Pramas said they'd still be publishing a 3.5 Freeport Companion. This ought to make everyone happy.

I must say all three of those points make me very excited.

A bit of historical commentary on Fast Forward Entertainment:
High Speed Amusement [General]

Hey, you're too busy to check everything on your character sheet. So who can blame you for having extra feats?

Benefit: Take three extra feats. If any of them are from a product printed by Wizards of the Coast, and they are not in the System Reference Document, and you're caught, you must shred your character sheet.

Normal: When you take a feat, you only get one feat.

I missed that. That'll be, what, the third world with a place carved out for Freeport? (Not counting books like Redhurst that aren't a full setting themselves.) Pretty darn cool.

I hadn't thought about it until you mentioned it, but since the Pathfinder CS has a place carved out for Freeport, it automagically has a place for Redhurst as well.

With 4E's wizard traditions, it would seem that Redhurst would be ripe for a new edition.

If nothing else, Redhurst Alumni should be its own power group, comparable to the Emerald Frost and whatever else. I like the multiple school approach, both because it's traditional D&D (which works for an ivy-covered hall like Redhurst) and because it's a shout-out to Hogwarts, since it's intended for Harry Potter fans.

Damn, sorry for starting the whole EnWorld debate. Wow, I'm directly responsible for the change to the title line on the board.

I HAVE THE POWER!

Now, I must go and do things with my new found abilities.

All the sources I can find pronounce it as "nin" (although this pronunciation sounds between the two), at least for the "english" pronounciation.

However, it's Chris' company, so he can pronounce it as he likes. I knew a woman whose name was spelled "Janet" but pronounced "Jannette."
My wife's grandmother is named Jannette but pronounces it Janet, so the name pronunciation karma in the world must be balanced.
