Pre-Gen Con WotC Press Conference

As a born-and-bred Tennesseean who just moved to Seattle six months ago, the pain of losing real honest-to-goodness sweet tea is still fresh for me. Thank heavens I've spend a few days back in the South on vacation.
Tea is your big issue? TEA? Good lord, man, what about the pulled pork sandwiches?

I think you may actually be a Yankee in Southern clothing.

The meeting is next week.

Yeah my wife informed me of this Friday night. So my previous post was...

from an alternate future that may still be changed.

Thats my story and I am sticking to it.

Aaron.

Actually, there's an awesome Texas barbeque place in downtown Renton where the D&D developers and I (with a few others) go every Wednesday that has some good pulled pork. It's nothing compared to something you'd get in Memphis or Birmingham, but hey, at least they've got it.

I'll ignore the insult in the latter part of that post, though. ;)

(As an aside, when I first arrived at WotC in February, apparently they were placing bets on whether or not I'd show up dressed like Colonel Sanders with a flintlock pistol, demanding satisfaction from anyone who crossed me. I blame Stephen Radney-Macfarland, who apparently decided that since I'm the only honest-to-goodness Southerner in R&D that I would be a caricature of a mustachioed Old South Confederate veteran or something. They were quite disappointed.)
