well save me a spot, i was debating True20 when I posted this but the hardback is not due out till Feb and I am not to fond of the Blue Rose setting

Oh, trust me. It won't be Blue Rose. It's so sweet it hurts my fillings. I'm thinking zombies, or maybe pirates.

On the ride to GenCon, Cthulhu's Librarian, Ethernaut and I were talking about other ideas for one-shot games and one of them I loved so much that I'm going to HAVE to do it. I'll probably try running it at the January NC Game Day and possibly again at the April one. If CL decides to run something similar then I may try his version. Either way, assuming that the idea works (and how could it not?!), I would probably run it at GenCon next year. So basically it is this:

Superhero Misfits. Basically think "Mystery Men" only slightly less useful. The PC's would be something like the following:

Glass Man!
He's made of GLASS! He uses his power of translucency to do battle against the forces of evil!

Stiletto!
She can run at breakneck speed, even in high heel shoes! Purse snatchers beware!

El-Fire-Bow!
Born of a Mexican mother who ate a radioactive habinero pepper: His elbows are on FIRE!

Slouch!
His posture is so bad that he can actually contort himself to get through small openings! Plus he totally rocks at computer games!

Together, THEY FIGHT CRIME!

No but one of them mentioned that he played in a "Mystery Men" style game at the previous GenCon where they were the rejects that went to try out for the team but didn't make it.
