Prerequisites for Multiclassing

I would say to multiclass you must take a feat. Just give up a feat, period. Gone poof. This way you do not get the whole min/max thing that so many dm's hate.
Feats:
Survivalist.................Multiclass in to ranger or barabarian
Holy Man...................Multiclass in to cleric or paladin
Defender of the wild....Multiclass into druid or ranger
Scoundral.................Multiclass in to bard or rogue
Warrior.....................Multiclass into fighter or ranger
Mystic Warrior............Multiclass in to monk or Paladin
Mysticist...................Multi class in to monk or cleric
Self taught wild..........Multiclass into sorcerer or barabarian
Conclave...................Multiclass into wizard or monk

erhaps some others and maybe chane a few and probably better names. This way your characters won't go over board with multiclassing but you get more out of your feat. Maybe a +2 bonus to one class skill from each class in the feat you take.
So Karth the fighter takes survivalist and can now multiclass into ranger and barbarian. He takes barbarian and gets a +2 bonus to intimdate checks. He then gets a level in rangger and gets + to survival. Yes they could stack. Suvival from ranger+2, survival from barbarian +2. Overpowering? Undepowering? Perfect?:D

There is no way I could, using your system, duplicate this Jack of all Trades..and rather suboptimal character.

'Course, this is exactly what i was thinking about trying to stop when i originally conceived of the notion: I hate spot defense.
