Prisoner of the Castle Perilous

My playtesters at Gen Con had a hard time just getting inside the tower. I remedied that by providing several entrances.

Of course, all of them are potentially deadly. I say potentially because not a single person died by voidstone door out of 2 playtest groups and third group that I ran through the print version. 18th level PCs have a lot of ways of circumventing doors.

Not all groups are going to go through this adventure the same way, obviously. My group that I ran the print version for had a hard time with The Engineer (area 5), Merkkor (area 13), and of course, Acererak and his Marilith ally (area 20).

Now, having said all that, there is a reason this is an homage to Mr. Gygax. It is intended to be very, very tough. But your players should be able to pull it off with a lot more reasonable chances of success than if they were adventuring in Tomb of Horrors.

Spoiler for one part of the adventure I have a question about.

I can't find what happened to Pentival. There's discussion toward the beginning about finding his body, but I can't actually find the body in the castle. Am I missing it somehow?
